Waste of money
"Great idea on theory, poor in execution. The zippers and inserts are a pain to put on and don’t even stay on when trying to wear the boots. Inserts are added just fine with the boot is off but pop off completely trying to put the boots on, and adding the inserts while wearing said boots is near impossible and more likely to leave you with bloody fingers. Metal zippers either refuse to close or don’t properly zip, leaving big gaps where the coils are just hanging open. One step and any parts of the zipper you have done up just rip right back open. The size and zipper type are all correct, the product just sucks. Complete waste of money and the time spent waiting for it to ship."

The teeth when zipped skipped
"The teeth when zipped skipped every other tooth to the zipper. I contacted the company and sent photos. They let me ship it back with a refund. I purchased the plastic (non marked ~no trademark marking like YKK, etc on original boot zipper). I followed directions and measurements to a T. Did not work for me, perhaps it only works on specific designs and trademark zippers. Company was responsive. I believe they were honest in their approach and wanting it to work for me."

THE MUCH AWAITED BOOTBAND HAS FINALLY ARRIVED!
"They look like they are going to work! I had a hard time reopening the zipper clips once I closed them but once I was able to get them back open and snap them on to the boot zipper, I was able to zip the boot band up to the top. Since they didn't have my measured exact size, I purchased a bigger/longer size and cut the top down to the height of the boot with some very sharp scissors of which turned out well I think. Based on the parts I cut off, I think I now know my actual size for that boot even more accurately. 8x5. I would advise ladies to work with the zipper once the boot band is in place to make sure you zip slowly keeping the two zippers close together all the way up to prevent some areas of the zipper from zipping and ensure a secure zip from top to bottom! I only unzip one zipper and only partly down. I can slide my foot and leg into the boot without zipping the boot band all the way down. The only real con is that shipping is a little slow. Hopefully, they can speed that up or sell these on Amazon so we can use Prime. I am also asking the company to please make the available in a lighter color like white or cream. I think the essential colors are: Black, Brown, Navy, White or Cream, Red, and Grey. Those are the colors we can make work with with any and every boot we buy. Other colors can complement these so these are the essentials. I will be purchasing more! This product will allow me to explore calf boots like never before! THANKYOU!"
